Demonstration Area 1

Demonstrations of a range of floor sanding machines will be available over the two days of the Convention. If you are in the market for upgrading your equipment, this is an outstanding opportunity to "try before you buy". One of the featured demonstrations will be of the new Python 10 inch Belt Sander by David Bosch of D&J Bosch Flooring.

Demonstration Area 2

A full range of practical demonstrations will be conducted in Demonstration 2. Come along and learn from experts from both the USA and Australia.

Installation tips on wide boards, thin overlay strip flooring and moisture barriers. Getting the best out of your flooring adhesive. (30 minutes)

This demonstration will cover three issues that are critical for installers of timber floors. The presentation will cover the issues that need to be considered when installing wide board timber floors using adhesives. It will then cover the risks of working with thin over-lay flooring and finally look at moisture barriers, which are of tremendous importance in protecting the durability of a timber floor, however, how they are applied will determine how effective they will perform.

All flooring jobs typically include some problems in the finish, a small amount of trash, swirl marks, hair, a footprint, dust etc. Learn how these imperfections can be successfully removed and the steps required to achieve the perfect finish.
